“Ouro Verde”, produced by Plural, received the International Emmy Award for Telenovela.
This is Plural and TVI’s second win and fifth nomination in this international competition. With this victory, Plural becomes the second most awarded producer in the Telenovela category at the International Emmy Awards.
The International Emmy Awards are assigned by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in recognition of the best television programs produced and shown outside the United States of America.
Created by Maria João Costa and directed by Hugo de Sousa, “Ouro Verde” had been on the air on TVI between january and october 2017 and featured Diogo Moragdo and Joana de Verona in the leading roles.
